Our curriculum is aligned with State standards and includes both Arabic Language and Islamic Studies
In PreKindergarten and Kindergarten, our young students start on the basics of language, writing and math skills. There is early emphasis on Quran memorization, wudu/salah, and Arabic alphabet and vocabulary.
In middle school, students are exposed to Pre-Algebra and are reading longer literary works, such as novels. They begin more serious study of science and both Louisiana and Early American History. Quranic recitation and Arabic grammar becomes more challenging.
By grade 9, students are deep into mathematics, science, history and literature. They begin earning credits towards graduation and their Grade Point Average becomes important. They study the Seerah and the History of Islam, along with more rules of Arabic grammar. By Grade 10, students are taking the ACT and beginning to take College Courses (if eligible).
